CLASSICAL SINGER | VOICE ACTOR

I have always had a passion for singing and began performing publicly as a child in my home church in Columbus, Ohio. Growing up, I believed that "anyone can sing." Later in life, while living on the West Coast, I sang in a choir when the accompanist approached me. She asked if I had ever studied voice and suggested that I pursue professional singing, as my voice had much more potential than I realized. She introduced me to an excellent voice teacher, and I took my classical singing studies seriously.

I studied voice with Dr. Kathleen Roland-Silverstein, Dr. Michael Warren, and Dr. Lisa Sylvester at USC's prestigious Thornton School of Music. After immersing myself in private lessons, workshops, and masterclasses, I auditioned for and was hired to sing with several organizations, including Long Beach Opera, Los Angeles Master Chorale, Los Angeles Opera, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

I have performed in many opera productions, including *Omar, Aïda, Carmen, Tosca, Die Zauberflöte, La Bohème, Porgy and Bess, Samson et Dalila, Susannah, Turandot, Lost in the Stars, Ainadamar, The Difficulty of Crossing a Field, Akhnaten,* and *Eugene Onegin*, among others.

I have also appeared at the Hollywood Bowl, singing in their summer series with renowned conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Zubin Mehta, Bramwell Tovey, Michael Tilson Thomas, and Grant Gershon.

My work also includes singing on movie soundtracks and in other commercial media, such as video games and learning aids for schools. My voice acting and professional narration credits feature projects for the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art in New York City, McDonald's Corporation, and the Metropolitan Water District.
